Where We Stand
Basebone is a provider in South Africa, Kenya, and several Middle Eastern countries for mobile content services. We combine carrier billing and credit card payment solutions, and our flagship product Baseplay has been on a roll lately!
We’ve surpassed 20 million active Baseplay users and 1.4 million new monthly signups across all of our emerging markets and now we’re ready for more.

Expansion
The Middle East is an android dominated market, and many individuals digest information on their mobiles. We’re happy to announce that we’ve expanded Baseplay to Saudi Arabia, one of the largest markets in search volume and clicks across the region.
Looking ahead, we will continue to expand Baseplay to Turkey, Qatar, and Kuwait to increase our subscription base and bring great products and services to users globally.

Localization
6% of the world’s population speaks Arabic, and only 1% of games in the Arabic-speaking world are offered in Arabic, even though 72.4% prefer apps in their native languages.
That leaves a huge gap, where users want Arabic content, but have a hard time finding it. In Saudi Arabia, 64% of individuals signed up with mobile carriers search in Arabic.
Basebone is constantly working to fill that gap in Arabic-language content. We focus on localizing content, and working with local creators and content providers to bring games, movies, health programs, and more in Arabic.
Above all, Baseplay is a local product. That’s why we center content providers and creators in each respective market.
Baseplay Creators
Also on the way, and something to watch out for in 2021 is our Baseplay Creators platform. An international group of creators that speak a wide range of languages will have access to our constantly increasing 20 million Baseplay userbase.
